Terms of engagement

These terms apply when you commission Workspace Fern (“we”, “the studio”) for onboarding completion analysis or a related review. By sending a written confirmation of an estimate you accept them.

The work

The scope is the written estimate: stream, dates, interview count, and deliverables. Changes require a revised estimate. Observation and interviews take place only with permission from the organisation commissioning the work.

Intellectual property

You keep your forms, agendas, and internal notes. We keep our interview scripts and method notes. The completion report is yours to use inside your organisation once the final invoice is paid. Public quotation of the report needs our written consent.

Confidentiality

Joiners are not named in reports without their agreement. Packs and recordings of notes stay in the studio files for the retention period in the privacy notice.

Liability

Findings are professional judgement based on the path we were shown. We do not guarantee a particular completion figure after you change a form or agenda. Liability is limited to the fees paid for the engagement, except where Korean law forbids that limit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Korea. Courts with jurisdiction over Mungyeong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do hear disputes that cannot be settled by correspondence.
